Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon grated turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/4 cup coconut milk or almond milk
Instructions:
- Bring water to a boil in a small pot.
- Once water is boiling, add the ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it steep for another 5-10 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a mug
- Add honey or maple syrup, if desired
- Stir in the coconut milk or almond milk.
- Enjoy!
